Final-year software engineering student at Monash, working mostly on multi-cloud platforms — serverless pipelines, Terraform, Kubernetes, and the occasional vision model that has to run on all of it.

Things I've shipped

In rough order of how much I learned. Each one links to a longer write-up with the architecture and the parts that went wrong.

Aussie EcoLens

ML lead, API secondary

A wildlife observation platform split across two clouds on purpose: writes land on AWS, reads are served from Azure, with CQRS holding the seam together. MegaDetector v5a screens every upload before SpeciesNet classifies it.

IFRC World Disasters Report

Web engineer, MOSAIC

The public reading platform for the IFRC's flagship annual report — multilingual, heavily accessed, and read by people who are not on fast connections. Built and shipped through MOSAIC.

CloudEco

Infrastructure

A Kubernetes deployment on GCP, provisioned end-to-end with Terraform and configured with Ansible. The point of the project was the boundary between the two — what belongs in state, and what belongs in configuration.

AgriAdapt AI

Built in under three hours

First place, sustainability track, at the Google DeepMind AI Sprint. A climate-adaptation tool for smallholder farmers, taken from blank repo to working demo inside the sprint window.

Monash DeepNeuron

System developer

Rebuild of the student engineering team's public platform. I owned architecture, the deployment pipeline and code quality across a team build — React Context for state, MUI-only styling, Netlify for hosting.

A native iOS app for browsing Monash units, with Firebase auth, cross-device bookmark sync and Core Data underneath so it still works on the tram.

Skilltree

Backend

Backend for a skill-community platform: progression trees, XP calculation, verification workflows and ranking, exposed over REST.

2025

Full digital implementation of the Santorini board game, including the god powers (Artemis, Demeter, Zeus) and the rule interactions between them, which is where all the difficulty actually lives.

AboutMelbourne

Short version

I'm in the last year of a software engineering honours degree at Monash. Most of what I do sits below the interface: provisioning, pipelines, and making sure the thing still works once it's deployed somewhere other than a laptop.

The project I'd point at first is Aussie EcoLens — a wildlife platform split across AWS and Azure, which taught me more about consistency boundaries than any amount of reading. Before that, mostly web: React, NestJS, and a stint on the IFRC's public reading platform, which reaches readers in seven languages.

Outside coursework I do hackathons. The last one was a first place in the sustainability track at Google DeepMind's AI Sprint, built in under three hours.
